Semester Final Exam - Period 3

2. My View In Photography Website

4. My Favorite Blog Post
I chose my First Semester Final Project because I felt like everyone let out their inner selves and acted the way they really are. I am actually proud of these photos because I felt like I put a lot of time into them and wanted them be the way I saw it as I was taking the photo. This project brought us close as a group an we expressed ourselves and captured the moments that stood out to us, this is why this is my favorite blog post.

5. This is My Favorite Photo of the Semester

The reasons I chose this photo as my favorite out of the semester is because : of the way all three of my groups members were placed (by themselves without any directions) and they matched the shadow of the column (which is diagonal), they each had their different postures which was amazing in my perspective (Dante leaned out, Darnell leaned inward and Brittany leaned out and it was the best position), and I also liked the way the colors they were wearing stood out and contrasted with each other and the background or setting added a new look to the picture.

6. My BEST Photo From My First Semester
I chose this photo as my BEST photo because:

  • Of the way I captured her as she was jumping and the way she did it was amazing.
  • The background fitted perfectly and added a new sense to the photo.
  • When you are viewing this photo you just admire the scene and her jumping was a new experience to me, it just fascinates me.

7. The Advantages of Working in a Group

  1. When we work with other we can feed off each others comments of how something should be done.
  2. We help each other out when someone needs it, we look out for each other.
  3. We just have a good time with one another exploring new ways and ideas about Photography.
The Disadvantages of Working in a Group

  1. Sometimes we can become frustrated with each other because sometimes we all don't agree on the same thing.
  2. Often some people don't like to share the camera and just keep the camera to themselves.
  3. Also, we can get into arguments about who's working to slow.
8. The phrase from Life magazine founder is "Picture Perfect" he also had a magazine called The Year in Pictures.

9. Henri Cartier- Bresson knew his photos were good because the Head, Eye and Heart were aligned.

11. Edited Photo

Before
After

12. The project that would interest me 2nd semester would be the same subjects we did 1st semester but maybe we can be more independent.

13. Mr. Farley has a "Hecka Free Zone" because he doesn't like the use of the word.

First Semester Final Project

I chose this photo because I liked the way she went with the concept of the idea our group chose which is Fashion.
I chose this photo because of the way the colors contrast each other and Dante stands out with his shirt.
I chose this photo because the way three of my groups members are aligned diagonally  makes it look unique and different.
I chose this photo because of the way the light reflects off her face and she looks like she's in a natural position and not posed.
I chose this photo because she matched the way the columns were and I saw that as a coincidence and she stands strongly.
